8 Wired were born during the infancy of the NZ Craft Beer revolution, when brewers sculpted a unique identity that is rich in kiwi spirit and adventure. Talk the Pork

We are thrilled to present an evening with A Lady Butcher, Hannah Millar and Behemoth founder, Andrew Childs. Focusing on the Nose to Tail philosophy, Hannah will discuss the obvious and not-so-obvious cuts of pork and how she creates her award winning products from this wonderful beast. We will have a whole carcass on display from Eketahuna Country Meats (Wairarapa) to enable Hannah to easily demonstrate and discuss her butchery prowess.   

What better way to commence the imbibing journey than with a carefully crafted charcuterie board? Following this, guests will be presented with a four course pork based menu using pork scotch, hock and shoulder. Each course will be presented with a brief explanation of its cooking method and matched with a Behemoth beer We will discuss cooking methods and flavour profiles so you can discover the influence pairing has on your dining experience. We hope you'll be squealing in delight!

In collaboration with Matt from the Good Food Society, we are excited to bring you 2 days of low, slow cooked succulent treats. Think St Louis style ribs, Aoraki Salmon, brisket and pulled pork. Bassline will be pouring their brews and, well it will be the place to be! Thursday 5th and Friday 6th August ONLY.

Taylah Barker is a soulful godess who's gigs are always praised by our staff and locals. Carl. Well we all know & love this pro! Finally Benji & Markus... we've missed this duo. An amazing voice and abundance of musical talent. What a month, get amongst!
